4 months on the
road
Before I lay my
head down tonight, I just need make a short post! Today marked our departure
form Scotland with 4 jam-packed adventurous months. Rough days, followed by
experience that dreams are made of; luxury travel to the most ridiculous over
full taxi rides, boats, planes, tuk-tuk to bicycle…we’ve done it all!!!
With a heart
filled to the brim with thankfulness I want to document this day.
We had a dream,
started visualizing towards our dream. We started planning our dream, write our
goals down and start making investments towards our dream. God provided us with
amazing people along the way, with opportunities, resources and wisdom!! We
believe in faith that He will also provide us with everything we are in want of
and in need of…especially as we are starting a new chapter in our
life-books…reaching South Africa in less than a month!!
Together with the
kids we’ve started visualizing our new home, our new town, their new school and
many more scenarios to be played out in 2015. Again so much to be thankful
about!!
We are preparing
for our next 4 weeks of intensive exploration of India and Nepal and thank God
for connecting us with an amazing travel agent in Delhi and a wonderful
hospitable family in Kathmandu. How good is that??!!
Tomorrow as we
leave Narima resort, here in Thailand, it will be with sad hearts. We made some
new friends and had the opportunity to many new experiences, including learning
some new life skills. One day we will come back here!!!!
With 4 minutes to
spare, before the day rolls into tomorrow…I want to praise our Great Provider…for
His faithfulness, protection and ever present help!
